It’s June 2025 and the AI trend is still booming. There were countless apps and wrappers of apps yesterday, plus countless more today. As I go through the journey of experimenting with EVERYTHING, I thought it would be funny to see how well AI could capture a slightly embarrassing moment I once had. Although I was by myself, I let out a few sounds of confusion and then I spent a good 15 seconds just laughing out loud.

ME: create an image of me trying to get out of a car with my seatbelt still on
CHAT: Sure — could you upload a photo of yourself so I can make the image look like you?
ME: (thinking to myself whoa interesting response!)
…2 minutes later, done, but I realized something important…
ME: i need this exact image but with wedding ring.
CHAT: done (almost perfect! it should have asked me if i wanted silver or gold, but it defaulted to gold)
AI Videos with Veo 3 !
Great! But wouldn’t it be more funny as a video? Yes, of course. So I went to Google Veo (subscription required, just like the mess we’ve made of streaming services subscriptions), and wrote a simple prompt as you see in the screenshot below.
It doesn’t currently allow images to curate the outcome, so this guy does not look like me at all, but perhaps that feature will be available… tomorrow?
